Long-time historian of the Mission San Xavier del Bac, Bernard L. "Bunny" Fontana, is this year's recipient of the Lawrence Clark Powell Lifetime Achievement Award.
Libraries Closed for Thanksgiving
The Pima County Public Library and Oro Valley Public Library will be closed on Thursday, November 27, for Thanksgiving. The Oro Valley Public Library also is closed the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 28. Book drops at all 25 branch locations will be open for you to return items. The library's online services, such as the catalog, My Account, and research databases will be available.
